WYPD is a veteran owned start up with the goal of removing personal information of it’s clients from the internet. The company came to me with a concept and its goal, but no visual design or product.
Starting with an interview, I got good feel of the types of users they would be providing for, and the task that the user would need to complete. In this case, the user would be an internal admin that would have to view, edit and delete records for clients.
Using the information I gathered, I created a design in Figma. To help the team better visualize the functionality and how the user would interact with the admin dashboard, I made the design into a clickable prototype.
The team then asked me to code the front end for them. I suggested Angular.JS because of its modular approach and clean implementation. There are also material design components that I am very familiar with and was able to incorporate into my designs. I was able to provide a working front end using TypeScript, HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript for the dev team who would add in the necessary end points and make their product a reality.
When the code was complete, I demo’d it to the client and then handed it over in a GitHub repository.
